Our coaching philosophy

At Omnia Cricket Coaching, our aim is to provide every child with a fun, safe, inclusive and inspiring environment where they can develop their cricket skills, build confidence, make new friends and enjoy the game.

We believe every child learns differently, and our experienced coaches are committed to creating a positive learning environment where children are encouraged to challenge themselves, learn from mistakes and reach their full potential, regardless of age, experience or ability.

Terms & conditions

By completing this booking, I confirm that I am the parent/legal guardian of the child named on this booking form and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Medical information

I have provided accurate information regarding my child’s medical conditions, allergies, food intolerances, dietary requirements, medications and any additional needs. I understand it is my responsibility to notify Omnia Cricket Coaching of any changes before or during the camp. I give permission for qualified first aid to be administered if required and, in the event of an emergency, for medical treatment to be sought if I cannot be contacted.

Photography & video consent

Photographs and video footage may be taken during camp activities. Images and videos may be used by Omnia Cricket Coaching for coaching analysis, promotional material, the website, social media platforms and future marketing. Consent is assumed unless you opt out. If you do not want your child to be photographed or filmed, tick the opt-out box in the section below.

Clothing & footwear

Children should attend wearing suitable sports clothing appropriate for the weather. Cricket trainers or cricket spikes are permitted, as coaching will take place on both grass wickets and outdoor practice areas. As activities are primarily outdoors, we recommend children bring warm layers and a waterproof jacket in case of changing weather conditions. Please ensure all clothing, footwear, water bottles and cricket equipment are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Hardball cricket

This camp uses a hard cricket ball. Players should wear appropriate protective equipment when batting and keeping wicket, including a helmet, pads, batting gloves and a box. If your child does not have their own equipment, please let us know before camp.

Weather

Camps will go ahead in all weather conditions unless exceptional circumstances make it unsafe to do so. Coaching will normally take place on the grass playing areas. Where weather conditions require, activities will move to our outdoor Astro-turf cricket nets and/or indoor facilities, allowing the camp to continue safely with minimal disruption.

Food & drinks

Children should bring a snack and plenty of drinks to stay hydrated throughout the session. A tuck shop will be available with snacks and drinks for children wishing to make purchases. Parents should ensure children bring spending money if they wish to use this facility. Please inform us of any food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements before camp begins. Please do not send children with food containing nuts if your child has been advised not to do so, as we may have participants with severe nut allergies.

Behaviour

Children are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, staff and fellow participants at all times. Bullying, abusive behaviour, unsafe conduct or repeated disruption will not be tolerated. Omnia Cricket Coaching reserves the right to ask a child to leave the camp if their behaviour compromises the safety, wellbeing or enjoyment of others. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.

Health & participation

I confirm that my child is medically fit to participate in cricket coaching and physical activities. I understand that cricket carries an inherent risk of injury. Omnia Cricket Coaching will take all reasonable steps to provide a safe coaching environment, with all sessions delivered by appropriately qualified coaches following current safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

Personal belongings

Children are responsible for their own personal belongings and cricket equipment. Omnia Cricket Coaching cannot accept responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings.

Collection of children

I will ensure my child is collected promptly at the end of each session by the authorised adult named on this booking form. If there is any change to the authorised person collecting my child, I will notify Omnia Cricket Coaching as soon as possible before collection. Children will only be released to authorised individuals unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the first day of camp will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the camp start date are non-refundable unless the place can be filled or exceptional circumstances apply. If Omnia Cricket Coaching has to cancel a camp due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or an alternative date will be offered.

Illness

Children should not attend camp if they are unwell or have a contagious illness. If a child becomes unwell during camp, a parent or emergency contact will be contacted and may be asked to collect them.

Data protection

Personal information provided during booking will only be used for administering Omnia Cricket Coaching activities and will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
